Inno Biologics, the first contract manufacturing organisation
(CMO) for biopharmaceutical production in Malaysia, held
their inauguration ceremony for its cGMP (current Good Manufacturing
practices) biomanufacturing facility on 7 September 2006.
The ceremony was officiated by the Prime Minister, Dato’
Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi, and attended by the Minister
of Science, Technology and Innovation (MOSTI), Dato’
Sri Dr. Jamaludin Jarjis. The inauguration ceremony was
also witnessed by the rest of the biotech Implementation
Council Meeting (ICM) members where the meeting was held
earlier on the same day at Inno Biologics’ site.

Minister of Negeri Sembilan.

After the successful installation of the cGMP biomanufacturing
facility in February, the Chief Minister of Negeri Sembilan,
Datuk Seri Utama Hj. Mohamad bin Hj. Hassan, was invited
to visit the cGMP facility and the surrounding biopharmaceutical
complex. Tan Sri Datuk Dr. Ahmad Zaharudin Idrus, Chairman
of Inno Biologics Sdn. Bhd., and Dato' Dr. Mohd Nazlee Kamal, CEO of Inno Biologics Sdn. Bhd. was on hand to received
the Chief Minister.

Inno Biologics Sdn Bhd organized a Regional Biomanufacturing
Seminar entitled "From Conceptual to Commercialisation",
aimed to provide insights in biomanufacturing whole
